Lauren Kruz is an award-winning entrepreneur and creative professional based in Los Angeles centering art, liberation, community and social impact.
Growing up in Detroit and living in Chicago, places where hope, resilience, and adversity co-exist shaped Lauren into a creative that is driven by purpose. Her work challenges stereotypes, disrupts culture, and pushes boundaries in media and advertising.
Lauren’s artistic practice and activism sit at the intersection of sustainability, gender and racial equity, healing and wellness, tech, new media and storytelling. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships that encourage resource sharing through cooperative economics in her entrepreneurship.
In addition to her independent consultancy work, Lauren is a Co-Founder and Director of Radical Womxn, a cooperative creative consultancy and production studio, for socially conscious artists, brands, and nonprofits. Lauren serves on the Executive Board for The Social Impact Center and Chair of Marketing for the Mountain Provisions Cooperative.
Her work spans Fortune 100 brands to nonprofits mobilizing mass movements including a partnership with the District Attorney of Los Angeles that expunged 60K Angelenos records. Lauren also worked as the Head of Marketing and Director of Community building the Girlgaze Network, a SaaS tech platform and global community of 12K Gen Z and Millennial artists with 300K fans on social media, with the mission of centering gender equity in media and advertising by providing paid job opportunities for women and marginalized creatives. She is passionate about mentoring and educating emerging artists offering workshops and opportunities for artists to kickstart their careers.

Over the years, Lauren’s work ethic and commitment to community has garnered awards and recognition such as a Cannes Silver Glass Lion for Change, a CLIO for Advocacy, a Congressional Recognition from the US House of Representatives for her work on National Expungement Week of Action and Awareness, an Honor for Dedication to Racial Justice & Expungement by the California State Legislature, and more.
When she’s not in LA you can find her on a mountaintop in Twin Peaks, CA where she lives and is committed to community building and economic development.
